Over 40 years ago, George Lucas’ space opera debuted, and it went on to become one of the highest-grossing franchises ever made. Beyond that, Star Wars became a pop-culture phenomenon, starting a franchise with TV shows and a total of nine films.

There Were 50 Stunt Stormtrooper Helmets and Six Hero Helmets
In total, there were fifty stunt stormtrooper helmets created plus six hero helmets for close-ups. The actors didn’t have much fun wearing the helmets because inside of them it was sticky and green and they were really uncomfortable.

Actually, Luke’s line, “I can’t see a thing in this helmet” wasn’t scripted. Mark Hamill said this to Harrison Ford when he thought the cameras weren’t rolling and they decided to leave it subsequent takes.
