Actors Who Admitted To Hating Their Famous Roles

Actors are only human, and sometimes they can make the wrong choices. Whether they were after the big paycheck, tied under a contract, or just didn’t see how bad it was at the time – these actors regretted playing their roles and we can’t blame them for it.

While Allison Williams definitely doesn’t regret Girls, and said she’d play Marnie for as long as creator, Lena Dunham, would tell her to, she did feel pretty disappointed in her character and found it hard to set her mind aside to play her.

“Marnie would drive me crazy if we were friends in real life,” she said in an interview with BuzzFeed. She felt Marnie made some really bad decisions, especially in her romantic life – like sleeping with Elijah and with Ray, and going after Desi when he clearly mentions he has a girlfriend. “I thought Marnie was better than that, but she wasn’t, so I had to be okay with it too.”
